Good points - Cheapness in compensation Posted: Dec 27th, 2017 - 6:22 am In Reply to: Well Said - nm
However, there is also the consideration that if a certain company draws the line and refuses to pay their employees a certain rate, those clients will take their accounts elsewhere and said company will go out of business or be absorbed by someone else, which is exactly what is happening. The big picture is that hospitals are trying to keep costs down and transcription is a huge expense, so blame the big bad MTSO if you like but they’re all just trying to survive in a dog eat dog industry. Would you be willing to sit and individually sign or add a personal greeting to hundreds or thousands of Christmas cards? It isn’t an insult to receive a printed card. Maybe it’s time to seek another employer who can provide those warm fuzzy feelings you seem to need but they are few and far between anymore. I don’t think holiday cards are the real issue here, just the tip of the iceberg.
