Save the PDF to your computer. Use Command F to search it, or PgDn, or just scroll through it. If you have a big screen or two screens, have it open on one side and the software on the other.

Instant Text can do way more than ShortHand, but ShortHand is better than just AutoCorrect.

Printing is great if you want to take the manual away from the computer and read it and do not have a tablet device.
