California has labor laws whereby the MTSO has to pay you when they have no work for you. So much for friendly labor laws, eh? In essence no employee is going to pay you if you don't have work to do. It's not cost effective for any company to pay people who are not working.

There are a few very recent notes regarding going into the MT field. Please do your homework. Recent notes are right here on this forum under your post.
