Think of it as sort of a cross between hacking and being a careful parent. They are software engineers, remember. It is not hard for them to even knock you all the way off the internet if they ever wanted to.

It is a little bit like creating a computer virus. Someone actually creates those codes that can infect entire networks with "bugs" that can take down your whole hard drive and spread it indiscriminately via contacts you might have in your email account. This is why you have to have antivirus software installed.

Sending a code via the internet is not hard. Any elementary programmer can do it. It has nothing to do with the moderators of this board if Nuance blocks you from this site.

But, the moderators of any chat room or board can also block you for violating any of the stated rules.

Just stay safe and do not give Nuance an easy target. Keep it anonymous by NOT responding to any emails from anyone on this board because that is the easiest route someone has to your identity (and your personal ISP address).

By the way, any time you have questions about ANYTHING Google it or use whatever search engine you choose to use. Doing this, typing in whole phrases, for instance, has bailed me out numerous times as an MT. I suggest you Google the phrase... tips for doing Google searches. There are lists of handy tips to help you narrow or expand your search.
