I use the same ASR as you - OP

Expanding a diagnosis that doesn't need to be is not a critical error. I don't bother unexpanding them and have never gotten an error for it. If they aren't expanded I only worry about expanding them if they are in the sections of the report where they are supposed to be. I don't believe ASR is "all that" like they thought it would be, but on my accounts it does a dang good job. I took a $20,000 a year pay cut, but that isn't ASR's fault, it is the fault of the idiots who run this company that won't admit they erred when figuring out what the pay rate should be when telling us we wouldn't lose money. Other than the pay I like ASR. It has assuredly saved me from CTS and the tediousness of typing a complete report. I don't mind typing an occasional report, but I like zooming through an editing one at top speed much better. Our POD was once told by a PC that if we made sure to focus on those things that are considered critical errors that we should never fail an audit, and it is true. I don't like any errors, but if a minor error or 2 slip through it is not the end of the world.
