Really, Not sure what ASR your using - sm Posted: Dec 1st, 2015 - 9:08 am In Reply to: Critical errors generally come from the things - we have to enter, not ASR
Things we enter? Hum my ASR adds dignoses,,randomly GERD comes out. It also makes 0 into 8 and 8 into 0 on a routine basis. It also now expands common diagnoses like DVT and CHF all throughout the report..It adds things that could actually be part of a previous diagnosis but has never been mentioned. Ruffling papers print out as diagnoses as well..Yes I catch them 99.9% of the time. Problem is, it should NEVER happen. It takes time, it costs ME money. Then you have the time and distraction taken to fix headings. Anytime the phrase emergency room is mentioned, my hospital ASR makes a heading emergency department course. Fact of the matter is...anytime you are distracted with garbage the chances are something else will slip by,,it may be critical, it may not be, but the chances are higher. I worked here before ASR and I have worked here after. I've taken a 12K paycut since ASR. ASR is a failure, for us only..Company is making a fortune, half of us are now picking and choosing which bills to pay and how to feed the kids.
