I always have docs saying "a 5 mm foci" in the liver. Since foci is plural of focus, shouldn't it be a 5 mm focus? This isn't an isolated case, have heard many doctors over many years say this, have NEVER heard anyone dictate "a focus" -- they always say "a foci". Is this rad-slang or am I crazy or what?
