I HATE THIS STUPID COMPANY - SO BAD

I finally had got enough 100% post-audits to overcome the critical error that I had the first week of October to bring myself up over 99% and they found 2 critical errors in 1 report that brought me back down to 98%. Of those 2 critical errors, 1 was a typo where I put an L with a number and would not have affected patient care so they could have marked it down, and the other was honestly a critical error that I swear I remember listening to several times to make sure I wasn't getting it wrong. I can't freaking win. It will happen again, I will bust my a$$ to make sure I don't get anything in the next 6 weeks and the week before after I'm back up to 99% which will be the last week before bonus is calculated and they will comb through every damn thing I do to make sure I get back to 98%. Maybe I should just quit worrying about bonus and go for lph

I gave up trying to get a bonus over a year ago. I strictly go for the $$. I have been at 98% for over 1 year. I'd rather make a paycheck I can depend on instead of slowing way down, getting marked off anyway for stupid stuff and worrying myself over a so-called bonus.

This is the only way I can stand to work here. I average $10-13/hour and this works for me. I also do not work OT. I clock in, work, clock out. No more, no less.

that doesn't affect patient care, like the headings need to be bold and capitalized or both, whether text starts below the heading or 2 spaces after and numbers spelled out or not below 10. Just going for the $$$$ now. When there is work, I might add.

I quit worrying about the bonus too. If I get it, then great I get it. If I don't get it, then great I just don't get it. I worry about how much I need to make in a paycheck to manage my budget. I make a goal of lines needed and I aim for that goal. I do, however, work OT or on my days off for a few hours to get a jump on any slow time that might happen during the weekdays, which usually does happen. So, essentially I work at least 6 days a week.

I don't care about FIESA unless I can learn something from a mistake or something I questioned with QC. I too average anywhere from 10 dollars to 12 dollars an hour, but I have had times where I was barely able to get 8 dollars an hour. I do what I have to do to make what I need to pay bills and I try not to worry about the rest of it.

It's so hard to do sometimes though. This place makes me bitter..

They have no work for us through their own manipulations. Almost everything now is on the inept, rotten VR so they can cut pay even more. I am leaving this company after 11 years. They are the worst place to work for in the world. I hate them more than anything. They don't care about their employees or their clients. Start the day with an email slap in the face, again, because they do not know how to manage people. Negative reinforcement never works. This is something that has been bothering me. I feel stupid asking, but since it's rather important, I ask. cpl Currently, I am making 0.083 per line typed. Is transcribing Acute Care notes that much different than clinical notes? I currently transcribe for a family practice and gastro docs who do colonoscopies and minor procedures and have typed for oncologists and cardiologists, gyns, ophthalmologists.
