anyone has yet been fully transitioned to DQS 6.1? - bored MT

I was curious whether or not anyone has yet been fully transitioned to DQS 6.1? Like the age/gender discrepancy feature or the banned content feature? I keep asking my CCM and really getting nothing in answer. I just wondered if this has completely fallen by the wayside or if its something that my CCM just hasn't activated yet. I feel so ridiculous having taken the training, waiting with baited breath hoping for an easy way to make sure that drs got the gender and age right and just sitting around still waiting. Sheesh.

Yeah, but DQS 7 doesn't have these features, its just ridiculous, why can't they get it together.

Not sure why you never got it but it sure has some tools to make things go faster.

MQ MT - are you actually seeing the gender discrepancy, or age discrepancy lighting up? Or is the prohibited word list being highlighted? I only have had implemented the heading list and the grammar checker. I keep asking my CCM, her latest answer is that they are now focusing on DQS 7. I keep thinking, yeah, and we were supposed to train back in 2011 for that and it still hasn't happened either.

We were supposed to be up and going on 7 in December. Then came the holidays, then the rebranding we weren't allowed to know about and now it is March and still no word. So my new computer that I had to have still sits. Wonder if they want it back?

Why not use your new CP with the current program? smg - Fossil

I set my new one up as soon as I got it in December, and it is tons faster than the old one.

Lazy I guess would be the best answer. I don't want to reset all my favorites or spend any more time in my office on the computer than I have to. My current one works just fine and until we actually need it (which it looks like may be soon by the email today) I won't be setting it up. Always an excuse. Can't do it in the next few days, going to make some money on the incentive! HA!

Banned phrases and gender discrepencies are in both 6.1 and 7.0. The functionality has to be enabled for the specific client; some clients don't use it, so it won't show up if you are working on a job for that one.

Note that if the gender mismatch is detected, the presumed "correct" one by the system is the ADT value, not the dictated value. You'll see the "red squiggles" in the document.

Where we would have been able to look up old reports instantly, w/o going to a new website? That WOULD have been nice.....but this is the MQ/M-Modal way....promises promises and then nothing.....

for a hospital that has sold out to Nuance to working for Nuance and watched with disbelief what they do? Has anyone watched them try to manage the account without asking anyone who works/worked at the hospital for suggestions, for instance, how to staff and cover busy days, evenings, etc.? Or QA, when they don't know the doctors but then send out emails with QA tips that are just wrong - yet they STILL don't ask anyone who works at the hospital or just plain igno ...

Our high-volume hospital dept just went onto Powerscribe after many fits and starts. Everyone involved expected the MTs to get reports to edit but it looks like the doctors (who fought tooth and nail against this) are very happy with editing themselves. This has left the MTs with little or no work. It's only been a week. Has anyone found that the novelty wears off and the doctors stop doing most of the editing?
