Whenever I run out of work and am unable to make up due to no work or unable to sit for 24 hours a day, I file for unemployment and it is approved. It really helps when the checks are so low.

Wow, I never heard of that. How do you get the money. I heard of people waiting months for their unemployment checks to get started. Didn't know they would send out checks here and there.

online and apply. Haven't had to do it yet, but if I ever get too much NJA that I can't make, I will.

It would be great if some others who have gotten partial UI for NJA would chime in and help those of us who will no doubtedly have to start doing this soon.

I do know it doesn't take months to get it; I think it's more like a week or two.

I'm not sure how it works for MQ, the way we are paid, how we work....for instance, do you have to at least TRY to make up the hours and then if you can't, you can apply?

If there is no work during your shift, you can apply. You do not have to keep checking back and 4 pm, 9 pm, midnight, 3 am, 6 am... Just your shift.

When you apply for the first time, I called and spoke to a live person, gave him all my info, that I ran out of work for 2 days during that week, they asked all pertinent questions. Then the next week I got a check. The funny thing is, for a few weeks after that, even though I worked all my hours, I still got partial unemployment because my pay was so much less in than in my highest quarter.

With the holidays coming, you are certain to run out, and I make such a little amount now, there is no way I can make it without partial unemployment when there is no work.

Its not my fault they gave it all to India. I used to gross no less than $1400 a check,($2800 a month) and now about $550 every 2 weeks ($1100 a month). Who should take the blame for this? I still work the same hours, the same speed, the same quality!

There are numbers for applying, reporting weekly wages, and other issues. Just look for the right number.

So much fun filing for partial unemployment. Have to send in weekly gross wages, which MMODAL say they can't let me know that until 3 days before payday, which does not work, as I have to report WEEKLY or I lose benefits for that one week. Just have to guesstimate what I earned by line counts straight and VR, but can't figure shift differential or what they screw you out of if you send too many QAs. I wondered if everyone has received their W2s by now? I left MModal several months ago when I realized staying for the benefits was not worth the stress and LOW pay, but have yet to receive my W2. I also did not receive my final PTO pay but it was less than 100 dollars so did not pursue it other than a few emails (and yes, I gave 2 weeks' notice and worked all of that). how do you know you've been paid that time by looking at your pay stub? And does it show up on your time sheets as an adjustment by your CCM? I was just wondering if anyone has received their paycheck from TTD yet? Today is August 20 and they were supposed to have been written and sent on August 10 according to contracts. Got a job offer, and in the contract it says I will be paid via 65 VBC line, so I questioned them about this because, to me, that sounds like spaces are not included, but they say they are included (they use Scribe platform).
