Does this mean CTLs will be doing exactly - the same work as MMEs?

Sure sounds like it by this description from MQ Central:  "Customer Team Leads will spend 100% of their time working QA, editing and transcription (non-administrative aspects) of their jobs today. "

It wouldn't surprise me the QATL, or whatever they're called now, gets the axe next. Or perhaps even the CCM with the new regional positional created.

I mean, all they have to really do is get somebody who actually knows how to QA/MT in some of these higher positions to shift these types of supervisory duties to them.

The QATL was changed from salary to hourly at the same time as the MME was started. No overtime either.

They are all being replaced (I think 400 as  remember) with Regional Team Leads who will cover nights and weekends when the CCM is off.  I think the CTL position came and went in only 6 months.  Is that a record? ...
