I Source anyone??? - soon to be displaced

Word through the grapevine is that our hospital is going to outsource to this company does anyone have any information on them.  Apparently the company offers jobs to those of us working for the hospital.  I know...it will probably suck.

If this is the same isource I know of, they are based out of India. They of course have "headquarters" here in the U.S., but its only really their sales team. They are horrible. The clinic I work for is currently using them, but we are in the process of switching from them.

If your job is being terminated and your department outsourced, an option is to apply for unemployment insurance benefits, it is your right if you have paid into it for years. It is NOT free money and you are NOT living on the dole. It is a temporary insurance benefit. The average is a percentage of your highest earnings in two quarters of the last two years to determine your weekly rate. If you have your pay stubs you can figure out for yourself. It is not the same amount and is a reduced amount.

First see what your state pays in weekly benefits. Massachusetts pays the highest and Arizona, Florida, Alabama payment the lowest, for example. If it is 200 dollars per week, you probably cannot live on that temporarily. The benefit amount in my state is 500 dollars per week. This is an opportunity for you to search for a job (and you are required to prove three job searches per week) you know more about. You could work for another MTSO remotely. You also have the opportunity to get retrained.

Your employer cannot deny your unemployment benefit insurance claim because they caused your unemployment. Your job and department have been terminated. You were laid off. Do not let them try to bully you into accepting a job with the MTSO they are going with. You do not have to accept the job. They did exactly the same thing to us and tried to intimidate us into "helping us with our journey". They did not know half of us had past bad experiences with the "big ones" and 75 percent of us went on unemployment. It raises your employer's unemployment insurance experience rates and they do not want that. WE did not want to have to apply for unemployment but it is an insurance benefit and you are now claiming for those benefits. It is harsh to now realize your present employer does not care what happens. They will even ask you to clear the workload days before your department closes. Google this information and call unemployment. Do not be afraid to do this. It became the first time I ever used my voice!!

The first time I was outsourced the vice president who wanted to outsource us lost their job because the line rate tripled after their introductory first year line rate ended.

The second time I was outsourced the CFO and chief human resources officer were let go.

Unfortunately they also did not hire us back.

You need to go on line and file for unemployment the same day you are let go. I did not know that. It will start from the day you file. I am only given 200 a week and they take out taxes also. But no job out there either. In-house is all gone. M-Modal and Nuance have the VR equipment and convenience for the doctors and faster. Less money for the hospitals? We were told it was a good business move...cutting FTEs and benefits. Only heard that the doctors love it. One doc told said it comes back perfectly.
Apply earlier than that - there is a waiting period

File the week before you know your final day. This moves up the process. Since you know the day of your termination, you can start the process earlier.

How do I correct an incorrect logoff time in schedule source (cable was down for 2 hours).  I've searched MQCentral but only got a blank page under "policies." I've gone to timesheet, clicked on clock, highlighted the incorrect time, red-flagged it, but I don't know how to change the incorrect time.  Maybe I should just leave a note in the box and CCM will fix it? Thanks guys!     ...

*great ideas* ever actually turn out to be something BETTER?  They always hype their BS up and then it turns out to be a huge let down, waste of time, and nothing but a HUGE Pain the ARSE.  E-time sucked too, but this sucks EVEN MORE.  They can't just leave bad enough alone.  And for the life of me I can't figure out where to see our PTO hours.  That was easy in E-time.  Can anyone tell me where to find this?  I'd greatly appreciate it.  ...

Is ANYONE else having problems with SS/TW not showing the windows on left side of screen to go in and look at timesheets, collaboration or swap board.  Whenever I go in to clock the first time for the day, then it is there, then when I go to clock out I have a blank white screen to the left.  It does not matter what I do, even shutting down my puter and going back in.  It is taking my clock ins and outs, but if I wanted to use anything else on SS I cannot!!!!   This is i ...
