It depends largely on the client. I've worked multiple facilities on multiple platforms, some allow it and others do not. Even within the same platform different clients will allow keyword searches and others will not. I even have a client who will not allow any searches of old documents at all. That makes some of the more difficult speakers hard to process. They get a lot of blanks from me. :-)
