Since I've been in the MT field, my salary increased x10, I started as a summer intern for $1.95 an hour. I'm an "office worker" now because my MT job is gone and paid a little less but still paid well. I think the difference for me was that I worked on site the entire time. I'd like to see where you got the numbers on the other salaries and the price of an office visit. There is something wrong when a person never sees salary increases but it sounds as if you've accepted it and never moved on, which is something I don't understand. I also don't understand why you got the "like" votes, apparently misery loves company.
