Without more info, I thought of "rent" as in a tear, just garbled by the dictator; however, I don't know what type of procedure to know if it fits the context of the op note you are doing.

I saw "rent" in one of my references, but wasn't sure. The doctor dictated that the iliotibial band and tensor fascia lata were identified right before the questionable "swrent" sentence.
He currently ambulates with the assistance of a cane and a leg "bend" discrepancy from the initial accident where he has been treated with a leg lift prosthetic device in his shoe
