parajuxtal osteopenia? - mt3

Are you positive you hear parajuxtal? Is is possible it might be paradoxical meaning a parodoxical reaction or result? This means basically that something occurs that shouldn't be...for instance, taking a drug for osteoporosis and it has the opposite effect, i.e. your bones get weaker. Therefore, paradoxical osteopenia. If you hear it clearly, then I'm stumped.

My guess would have been "perijunctional" osteopenia. That would mean around the joints.
