anybody ever heard of what s/l "hemo" splenomegaly. dr not saying hepatosplenomegaly. thanks for any help

Differential diagnoses include pseudothrombocytopenia secondary to platelet clumping, decreased platelet production, increased destruction, or distributional, such as hemosplenomegaly.

i figured it out. dr is saying "such as seen with splenomegaly". lordy

Dictated: Bone marrow aspiration and biopsy showed an increased number of small lymphoid cells replacing the marrow in a continuous interstitial and sheet-like pattern. Iron stores were present.
