Been doing ortho for over 15 years and in addition, this is the way the hospital does it on their op notes, as well.

Check the Book of Style. Grade is written in Arabic numbers, stage is written in Roman numbers, so it would be grade 2, not grade II.

I agree, unless you have one of the accounts I work on. A few of my doctors requested that it be typed Grade 2 -- hate it that way when most say Grade II. Ugh! I think Grade II looks better, but what do I know?

Guess it depends on if you have to follow the BOS or not. Many places it is referred to as grade II. By the way, many places refer to the lumbar "disks" as "discs", which is what I learned years ago. The BOS has its own way and then there are the other ways. Just depends on if you have to follow BOS or not. I have seen grade II or grade 2. Very confusing in my opinion.
Haven't got any feedback from instructors in weeks and any emails to them are returned with "permanent fatal errors". Found 2 other students with the same problem as of today. Would like to know if there are any others. If anyone is affiliated with the VLC school on here I would greatly appreciate some answers.
