This was an MRI of the left wrist.
She then had an MRI that was ordered by us on March 9, 2011, indicating avascular necrosis of the lunate, which is Kienbock's disease, thickening and heterogenicity of the triangular fibrocartilage without a tear.

Listen for: "hyperechogenicity" or "hypoechogenicity."
Another word you will hear is "heterogeneity."
