I am a newbie working on the examination portion of an ortho report on a patient with shoulder pain....sentance reads, and sounds like " Resisted pelt and dental E press also causes pain." Have been searching for over an hour as to what they could be...thinking "pelt" is actually "belt"....just not sure. This is a TERRIBLE garbled recording :(
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :) Thank you in advance!
Examination of the left shoulder reveals symmetric range of motion with internal rotation to the T4 level bilaterally. External rotation is within sight of 80 degrees bilaterally. In abduction, there is 90 degrees of external rotation and 80 degrees of internal rotation. She has pain that is reproduced with resisted internal rotation with the right shoulder in full abduction and external rotation. Resisted pelt and dental E press also causes pain. She has a positive lift-off on the left compared to the right. Her strength in abduction external rotation is 5 out of 5.
