Liver "lacs" - TK

This patient was in a MVC and is being taken to the OR. In the postoperative diagnoses and findings, the doctor says "multiple lacs to dome of the liver."
Do you think I'm hearing "lacs" correctly and is it short for lacerations?

I have always typed out the word when they use that particular slang, but I know some employers or client specifics might want absolute verbatim, no matter what, so your instructions could be different.

[ In Reply To ..]....you will also hear it used singularly, as in: "The patient suffered a head lac." Again, I type out "head laceration" because, as you can see, that just looks weird (to me, anyway) and doesn't read very well--at least in my opinion. :-D
For anyone else reading this who hasn't heard this particular slang term, it's pronounced like "lacks" or "lack." :-)

Patient had pelvic ultrasound done which showed some liver lesions. She then had a CT scan done that confirmed the lesions. They were heterogeneously enhancing, not felt to be consistent with hemangiomas.
