Which of these sentences is correct? 

The patient is a frail, 5 feet 5 inches female. 

The patient is a frail, 5 feet 5 inch female. 

 

Not sure how others do it, but sm - nm

When I use height in this way, I type 5-foot 5-inch female.

If dictated the other way, I would type she is 5 feet 5 inches.

that's my preference, too...nm - elaine
