Clutching at straws, here, but could "HBPY" be his - abbreviation for "Helicobacter pylori"?

I am confused, a LONG time ago I was informed somewhere to drop the period in E Coli and H pylori, but now I've been called out on it as an error and I'm trying to find "proof" to back up why I've been doing it WITHOUT the period for so long! Doctor says (ESL, of course) H05 pylori. How is this typed? I am assuming they mean .05 H. pylori, though this is difficult to reference. Thank you. ...
D4 Antibiotic Treatment For Helicobacter Pylori Infection

MD states what sounds like, "She was given D4 antibiotic treatment but could not tolerate it on her stomach and after seven days stopped it." This antibiotic tx was for Helicobacter pylori. I can almost make myself think he is saying, "She was given the full abx tx but then the sentence would not really make sense, would it? Can anyone help? Dictating MD is a neurologist and referring is Internal Medicine. Thanks!!! ...
