ENS chip? - sj

Has anyone ever heard of a chip that may be implanted, possibly for pain? This patient has low back pain, colitis, sleep disorder, fibromyalgia, cerebral palsy, and OA. All that is dictated about this chip is s/l "ENS chip. No MRI." The first letter doesn't have to be an E...it could be any letter with the E sound...I found a couple of letters that worked with as a chip, but none that specifically said they have been implanted into a person.
