STILL out there. And I only sent out about 4 resumes. I am averaging 25.00 an hour TRAINING. I am NOT kidding.
Don't give up just yet. Keep looking. There are jobs out there. You just need to find them. I would give you the name of this awesome place, but unfortunately, I'm not going to do that just yet. I know I took the last spot they were hiring for. BUT, I'm also having A LOT of family issues going on right now, so if I decide not to go past my training period with this company, I will post the name of it. At this point, the money is great, but I have a child who really needs me right now and I may have to quit working from home altogether. :( Not sure yet. Possibly. I'm trying to figure it all out. Because of the family situation, I signed up for the night shift. They are NOT hiring for daytime work right now. So, if you are interested in this position you must be available evenings and some weekends.
I'm trying to give hope to all of you out there struggling. I struggled for years with this company. No matter how long I sat and edited/typed, my line counts just were not adding up. I can't explain it. With this other company, the lines add up quickly and easily. It feels so good to finally be getting paid what I KNOW I'm worth (and you are too!), and it makes me want to try harder and put pride into my work. That's what Nuance DOES NOT GET.
Like I said, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. I hate to quit, but it just might come down to it in the next few weeks. If I give this awesome position up, I want it to go to a much deserving, committed, and good fellow MT. :)
