WOULD NOT be calculated in compensation at this time?? So what was the exciting news? That means it has nothing to do with wages or bonuses...not sure what the hype is? So basically things stay the same with pay and bonuses how they are figured?

exciting changes coming that would benefit the MSL...I don't see it.

I listened to the new metrics explanation. All the blame is on the MLS...saying we mess up over 1000 med and lab errors a month...nothing to do with poor quality recordings and horrible ESL doctors--and the fear of sending too many reports to QA because we lose our bonus if we send more than 10%...etc., no point in hashing it all out again....

Oh, nothing about getting paid for that session, but I clocked in for it, so I will see if I get paid for it. How can we be expected to sign off that we took this session and not get paid for it?!?!?!

The "exciting" was actually THEIR anticipation of increased profits by being able to pay lower wages to India and brand new inexperienced MLS. Are we really that surprised though? I am planning on dropping down to part time and using this place for spare change while I go FT with my now current PT position elsewhere. Way to go, Nuance! Excitement NOT!

The new MT isn't going to complain about pay cuts by 40%-50%, how much better Webmedx/Transcend or what ever company you came from was, or how the whole industry has taken a dump on a whole because they are fresh out of school and just happy to have a job!!!

Bright eyed, bushy tailed, and happy little campers ready to jump through hoops all day long. I remember when I used to feel like that.......

SAY IT. Nuance pays 0.04 per edited line and 0.08 per typed line. THEY all pay the same and THEY SUCK! I'm so so so glad I QUIT. And when I did quit, I didn't even get an email wanting an explanation or a phone call from anyone from that godforsaken company. All they care about is THEIR bottom dollar. I now work for a clinic that pays .18 per line and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new job AND work from home! Once again...NUANCE...YOU SUCK!

That's probably the rate or close to it that these MTSO are making from the companies and paying us just pennies to type their work. I thought this speech rec was supposed to help us get more done and make more money, not the opposite way around make them more money. We should at least get 6 cents a line for speech rec, its still hard to make money if you have terrible dictators with speech rec. After you see you just typed 250 lines in speech rec for less than a decent rate, and some of them only pay 3.75 and even when you type 400 lines an hour in speech rec and then you sit there for the next 3 hours with only a job here and there coming in it sucks.

going to India. My TL told me this point blank. My longtime busy accounts have already started to dry up. First it was India QA'ing my reports and now I'm told they will also take over typing on them. This was a HUGE account.

In the end, they will increase their profits and bonuses. That is what they find exciting

Could have saved myself some weekend anxiety. The 877 call in number was Medquist. The CEO tremored through the whole accounce of the buyout. HUH eat my foot they will recognize and keep everything intact. When I asked for Federal Leave when Q bought Spheris they would NOT recognize my time. eTrans made an "error" last pay taking away all my PTO. The sweaty CEO has a bad conscious because eTrans will make as much as MTs in India. Now I know what the Plus in Etrans stood for. ...

OOOHH. Big announcement today, join us. For what? DocQscribe just renamed? Forgive me if I am not excited, sounds like a disappointing regift to me. In fact, it is probably better they change it to Fluency or whatever because on my new MM computer sent for the upgrade to DocQscribe 7 they spelled the program as DoQscribe. No kidding. Be on the watch out for more pictures of corporate parties I am sure because to some people this is a big deal. ...

What a bunch of nonsense. They wait until well into their smoke and mirrors BS to say that they lost two accounts and had to let people go. Guaranteed they knew the accounts were gone a while ago--seen this with them before, and the decent thing would have been to warn people--but there seems to be no decency here any longer in how management conducts itself. Question: What is with all the new hires this summer who have been scrolling on the community page? ...
