Problem fixed - rock bottom

Well, they fixed my pending problem. They said it was all in my head. The jobs were really pending. Ha? The pending symbol was NOT there. They said it was because my settings were wrong.

So, they changed my settings. Yep all the way to resolution 1400 x 900. This is my last post. Really. Cannot read what I'm typing.

Can't wait for my post-audits to hit a new low.

Gonna have to go.

Fixing my text size is easy. If you notice, the labels can only get so large or it is cut off.

Ditto with the items in the labels.

Problem is they are putting too much on a single page, have to have everything smaller to cram it in there.

Next upgrade in computer speed will likely have so much load in one upload that they will go to a ridiculously small font.

Developers have HUGE screens, so the don't realize that we don't have a screen the size of a 52-inch TV. It looks great to them. They need to look at it on a regular sized screen. (my current screen is as large as my fused neck will permit 25 inches wide).

I know somewhat what you mean. I'm only on version 9, had to do 10 for a while and hated it, not sure what the "pending symbol" for 11 is that you speak of. I had issues with text visibility in the demos/ADT even on 9, though, and changed my overall computer DPI to help compensate, but which does cut off labels some, like you say.

Totally agree, they seem to never beta test these things on average rather than state-of-the-art equipment and well enough (or at all?) with the actual end-users, us, the ones who have to try to be productive enough to survive using their bloated, ill-programmed platforms. Nature of the beast, unfortunately.

Have you tried changing the display settings for your computer? To do this click the start button, control panel, then display. There are three choices--small-100%, medium-125%, and large-150%. I use 125% which works fine but I do wear glasses for working at the computer. Hope you get this fixed--impossible to work without being able to see. This change is for the Editscript and patient demographic portions of the screen.

I should also add that you can shrink the demographics part of the page when editing or typing by using ALT Shift E. Then to get your demographics back use ALT E. You can toggle between these. If you happen to get a document with text all jumbled together, it's probably from this feature being used--so either do the Alt Shift E again to stretch out the text, or you can page down then page back up which also brings the text back to normal. When you increase the display size, the demographics will take up more of the screen--so this is a great tool to have. This is a feature of the editscript version I use--hopefully it's a part of all their versions. Best of luck with this!

I just want to say Thank You to MTStars Support who worked tirelessly to fix whatever was wrong with the site. I appreciate your efforts!! GLAD to be back! However, it obviously has not changed the "Attitudes" of some who post on this forum, unfortunately. All the snide, snarkiness is back in full force. Is there anything that "support" can do about THAT? Just a thought. :-) ...

As posted before, I had error 372 on opening Editscript version 9. Well, tech support couldn't fix it, escription couldn't fix it, so I fixed it. I did a system recovery where I basically just wiped everything off my computer and started all over. Vista was basically reinstalled and it was like it was when it was new. I reinstalled my antivirus and word. Then when tech support installed ES 9, it worked. ...
