What to do? Sitting here with burning, crossed eyes, staring at the computer screen. Log off and log on again every 15 mins? I need some work, or a reason for living, or at least a martini. This is DEPRESSING.

What region are you in. We are working OT in mine. But we are being merged on Monday and I have heard from other MTs that when they merged their jobs disappeared. Sorry to hear about you. Could you ask to be moved? I am sorry I do not have any advice for you except that. May be on Monday I will be saying the same thing.

I'm not sure which I would rather have right now. It sucks to be without work, but when the work you do get is ALL ESL from every account except your primary, with bad sound quality to boot, having no work sounds like a blessing.

I feel like I can't with with this company. I either have no work at all or HORRIBLE work that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

To top that off, I was in the ER last night and am in a lot of pain. If today wasn't the last day of the pay period, I would probably say forget it!!!

Three weeks ago, my primary account switched to voice recognition without any forewarning. My average line count used to be 2000 lines per day. Since the switch to VR, it is now 1,000 to 1,400 lines. Figure in the fact that I am making less $ per line now, plus my hundreds of normals are useless, plus the frustration knowing I used to type these reports myself in the same time it takes to correct all the VR mistakes - I am wits end.
