QA submissions - SanDee

Posted: May 20, 2010

I need clarification please.  What is a QA submission?  Is that the same as leaving a "qa blank" in the report?

The reason I ask is that we were told that a certain percentage of QA submissions would result in a paycut, correct?  I NEVER submit to QA, yet my monthly detail would never reflect that.  my detail shows NUMEROUS submissions, putting me in the paycut range!

I have yet to hear a response from CCM.  (surprise...)  If anyone can enlighten me, I'd appreciate it.  I feel like an idiot sometimes because I can't keep up with every single rule and change.

It is when you leave a QA marker and then check the box for the job to route to QA.

are you new to the Q? if so everything is - submitted to QA

until you are audited. After that it should only be the doctors or accounts that are on full QA... those do not count against you. You have to click the QA box to send it to QA, or if you leave the @@ in then it will route to QA. Hope that helps :)

Also on some accounts if you leave out - babypaws

any of the mandatory ADT information, it will automatically go to QA. Even if the patient is not in the system yet, say for an H&P and the patient is being admitted next week and you can't pull up any ADT info yet. That report goes to QA and it does count against you.

However, if you are new and on 100% QA, I don't think your pay is supposed to be docked yet.

NEW MQ EMPLOYEES AND QA SUBMISSIONS
Jul 06, 2011

I was just looking back at some old posts relating to how MTs are penalized at MQ for sending notes to QA and I have to say, this really bothers me.  If you are trying to do the right thing, why is your pay reduced?  Here's my story:  I was thrilled to get a call from MQ asking me to interview, even more thrilled when I got the job.  I had read all the negative posts here but thought I would give them a chance because the only way to know for sure is to try it out yourse ...

ACKNOWLEDGE RESUME SUBMISSIONS
Oct 26, 2010

Does anyone ever get an acknowldegment when they send a resume for a job posting?  I have yet to receive one.  I am talking about the companies, of course, who do not ask me to test or have no interest in me as a potential employee.  The ones who do, contact me and I test and interview and blah blah blah.  I have always thought it was common business practice and just plain courteous to send a letter, heck, make it a form letter, I don't care saying, sorry we are not int ...
