Has anyone had any luck with CCM on this new ASR - mine is useless

Anyone else complain and actually get a response?  this making of random headings is ridiculous..my CCM just ignores me so I go along on my own..she wont even tell me where to make complaints on this mess to...Wonder how much she gets paid and how can I complain on her..I dont mind that she may be busy but this is getting ridiculous, she darn sure wants to hear from us when she needs something..Cant stand people that are paid, far better then me to supervise me, yet dont even make an attempt to do their job, it is just a slap in the face...and I dont need her useless supervision either, just somewhere to report these stupid errors..

Click on the help button on the very top in black letters. Then, report a problem. Then fill in the page. Otherwise, open a ticket in Remedy.

Back last year when they were making us all those promises, they said one person was going to be responsible for the ASR. Let's see if we can find that person. We can't post her name here (I recall it was a woman) but maybe we can drop a hint. Then maybe we can all send our emails to her.

This key area will be owned by Amy Amick and Mike Raymer. The Boost Initiative has begun and is using resources from our Technology, Solutions Management, and Operations to make important improvements for our MTs. The Boost Initiative projects include improving audio quality in our transcription applications, and improving speech recognition in areas such as section recognition, physician name recognition, and usage of punctuation. Other projects include educating clinicians on best practice dictation methods, improving the accuracy and timing of demographic information, and standardizing content and formatting requirements. You will hear more detailed information about the "Boost Initiative" on an All Hands call, for Operations and all MTs, coming up in mid to late March with Amy Amick.

Is anyone surprised that the quality is worse, the dictators are just as bad and the punctuation seems to have gone bonkers?

Amazing how silent they both have become regarding pertinent issues. Apparently improved communication means something different to them than it does to me.

I mean, hey we all care about the new email system and the focus group but what the about the comp plan promised in early summer and what about this improvement of ASR? Complete silence.
bottom line is they dont care - we are replaceable

I had high hopes for Vern and Amy but it turns out they lie just like everyone else before them. Oh the horror. Chase can hire people who look just like them and promise the same things but never actually do anything. We really should be used to it by now.

well our hospital is to be taken over and they will be coming to speak to us individually.  There are four hospitals in this system.  Our hospital will have no transcriptionists going with Nuance. Good luck with some of the doctors, one doctor says he needs new dentures (people have been doing him for 30 years can't understand a coherent sentence) on the bright side he does correct our work cheerfully, must be alotting more money to other things than his dentures. Good luck to everyone who's gotten the second, third, or whatever number email and been invited to take the test.  I hope everyone comes out of it doing phenomenaly and MM has a hell of a time chosing which of you are the top 60!   Regardless of the bickering and bashing occuring on the board, please keep us all posted on how the process is going.  I for one am not entirely opposed to the program; I'm just frustrated that they weren't forthcoming with a great deal ...
