FREEDOM!! - DatGirl

Posted: Jan 27, 2013

I am SOOOO happy to report that I am no longer employed by M. Modal.  I cannot say how much of a relief it is to not be held hostage by this joke of a company.  Sitting around all day, waiting for work is for the birds....and then being asked by my CCM to "make up hours" on the weekend or evenings...um, yeah, no...there's a reason for the option of "release from work without pay."  If you don't want us to have that option, don't give it to us.  I was hired to work a certain schedule and it was good enough when I started, but now you want me to change it?  Pffft.  Btw, being forced to change your schedule is illegal.  If the terms of my employment change, you have to fire me...so I can collect unemployment...which is why they won't fire anyone.  I agree with previous posts I've read here.  My CCM is pretty much nonexistent unless she wants something.  My emails go ignored, even when it's something pretty damn important like PAY.  What a JOKE.

Funny how nothing has been said about this year's survey, considering how horrible of a response they got from last year's! I'm guessing it's because things haven't changed.  The higher ups should be EMBARASSED.  NO ONE should have to work for a company that gives work to India while their OWN people starve.  It's unamerican.

FREE AT LAST FREE AT LAST, THANK GOD ALMIGHTY, I AM FREE AT LAST!!!

so.... did you quit, fired, ? You didn't elaborate... - n/m

I don't think they will fire anyone - unless they just stop

It was a resignation. As I said, they don't fire you, because that would mean unemployment, thus a steady income, for their (former) employee...

Not really, from a policy standpoint that is - job abandonment

Therefore, they do not have to pay UE.
Huh? - DatGirl

I didn't abandon my job. I resigned. I'm not applying for UE benefits. Is there some confusion here?

Keystrokes, Diskriter Or Freedom Type, Any Info?
Dec 22, 2009

Need info on Freedom Type, Keystrokes or Diskriter.  I live in Okla and worked for a local service until recently. They downsized and cut the transcription dept. I now have a job with Medquist but can't get any work through them. Like most, I need a paycheck, not just a job title. I'm looking for a good company to work for who is honest and provides a work load that is not constantly running out. I've seen some good reviews on these 3 companies but any current info or opinion ...
