ESL ASR horror...sm - anon

This is actually what the dictator said.

"Patient has been drinking 12-20 beers every day and has had blackouts but denies any seizures. Denies any denies any seizures. Denies any blackouts but denies any seizures and denies any but denies any seizures, blackouts but denies any sezures and denies any seizure disorder."

INMO, we don't get paid enough to fix this crap.

Sounds like the doctor decided to join his patient and have a few beers himself.

I totally agree - depressed and fed up

He could have had a few beers, but I wouldn't count on it. The doctor I just transcribed for repeated his words all throughout the report and a 3rd grader could have put his sentences together better. How could you be overall feeling fairly stable. Also, why rush what you're trying to say, when you don't KNOW what you want to say, then have to go back and repeat it to make it make sense.

Sounds to me like the doctor is the one who - drank the 12-20 beers! nm

Meditech Is A Horror To Learn
Jul 24, 2014

Are there any MTs on the board that are currently using, have used Meditech? Years ago I was told Meditech is a horror to learn and use, very slow and cumbersome jumping screen to screen before actually typing anything.  Does this still hold true? Has it been improved? Any comments would be appreciated.  TIA. ...
