This futile !! NJA 15 mins. into shift every day this week - including today FRIDAY. Unreal. So, okay, go do the training and I get this bizarre message. So here I sit, no work, no training (how will I ever win the CONTEST? LOL), no hope !!!! ugggggg

I feel your pain. Same boat. Did the training yesterday. Got locked up in module #1, tried pushing pause and messing with slider at 17 minutes into it and had to re-listen to that 17 minutes again. The whole thing was about 3 minutes worth of info. Enough to put you into an irreversible coma (oh so that's the plan). Took me almost 2-1/2 hours to get through the stupid thing. Haven't upgraded yet. Sent Email to CCM probably hear back week after never. Was going to try to get 'er done (the upgrade) so I MIGHT win the TC, but then realized it's only 6 inches diagonally bigger than my antique clunker, which is probably 2 inches each direction and probably the cheapest piece of Chinese junk on the market and would probably arrive broken like most of the other stuff they send. But that $400 Walmart gift certificate, could buy lots of Cheap Chinese stuff - hey wait they sell beer and wine there!!! Gotta go upgrade. How dry am I, how wet I'm gonna be....

So either the Q is using a free webhosting service with a bandwidth limit or they are paying for a hosting service that is screwing them over (most have unlimited bandwidth if you are willing to pay for it). Now, because so many people are without work and downloading these videos, they reached the maximum that they can give out in a day. It sounds as if they really thought this one through.

How can people be paid so much for being an idiot. Maybe I should be a CEO. I just have to look like I know what I'm doing, make idiotic decisions, and if I get fired, it won't matter because I'll get a few million on my way out. Why is this still happening??

Got through 1st 4 tutorials last night and saved the last and longest for today. Been trying to get on the do it for last 3 hours. Finally called tech, and yes, actually talked to someone who helped me a great deal by telling me to "try again later."

I spent over an hour last night going over the Headings thingy, and still cannot make sense of it. Plus, the moderator's voice gave me a mega migraine and her explanations were clear as mud.

right. They always seem to screw it up somehow. Why would they not check that this wouldn't happen? I made the time tonight to get this done and now I can't do anything! Big waste of my time!!

Just skip through to the end and get the codes. You have the manual to refer to once you get the upgrade.

Hi guys,

I had the same problem. I haven't finished yet either. There are just too many people at MQ now, and everyone was trying to get on at the same time. Also, my CCM said it wasn't an option to be done by the date they gave us. We have to have it done by then, so what's up with the prizes. LOL. I will say this, as far as MT companies go, MedQuist really has a good setup. I'm not going to name any names on here, but my prior place of employment I didn't get nearly as much money and they knew too much of your private business. At least here we are so large that not too many care about our personal crap. Believe me it's better that way than having people gossiping behind your back. I have few beefs with MQ, like I gave up my weekends to have work, then every weekend my CCM offers OT and all my work is taken by people who have already worked their regular hours. That really ticks me off. Still, you'd be hard-pressed to find any company that didn't have it's problems. Some of the changes are really good on 6.1 though.

Save the file to your desktop first. - I had no problems.

Has anyone checked into the legality of more and more MTSOs wanting to limit the PTO pay to $12/hour maximum even if you average making more than that? It doesn't seem right to me that they're getting by with "robbing" those who are high producers on PTO pay. ...
