Anyone know what this is on my MQ paystub? - mb

Posted: Feb 28, 2011

On the deductions, it has the usual Social Security, federal and state income tax, and then it says "employee medica" and charges me $5.26 (I'm part-time and only worked 33 hours last pay period). YTD for this was $24.57!

The only extra thing I have on there is that prepaid legal plan. I've signed up for nothing else.

Anyone know what "employee medica" is? I'm not going to waste my time emailing or calling my CCM, because she never answers my calls/emails anyway. Just thought I'd get a faster answer here.

Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know what Ltd on our paystubs mean?  It shows up twice on mine, first under the earnings, then again under other deductions where that amount is taken off.  ...

Thank goodness I have direct deposit... but don't feel happy about missing a paystub and don't want to go totally online for it... ...
