Got booted and now working very slowly. The keys only move if I am not pushing down on the foot pedal.

when Kapersky is running, I am not sure why, but nothing likes to work when it is running. The footpedal sticks on and will not stop, the cursor disappears, and as for now I just get frustrated because it does it at least twice a day (sometimes more). Sometimes, even my DocQscribe window disappears, but you can still press the footpedal and it will play, but for this, I have to exit all windows showing on the screen and when they are all gone, then DocQscribe comes back. Not sure why it does it. Does anyone else have similar problems?

They don't give us enough RAM on these computers to run everything efficiently so when K is updating, it uses almost all the resources available and you can't really do anything else until its done. I have gotten to where I turn mine off while I am working.
