6.1 install - whatever

I can't even get 6.1 installed correctly. I attempted to download, got an error message to call support which I did. Support called me back rather promptly. The tech worked on my machine for 30 minutes cause he couldn't get it to download either. He then pronounced it ready to go. However, when I attempted to login I received another error message that said the program had to close and I can't login and have been waiting for support to call since 9:15 yesterday morning to fix the problem. So, as usual I'm not working, they are not calling, and through no fault of my own, I'm screwed again. Thank you MQ!

No flaming please. Guess, I'm just being hysterical, whining cause nothing pleases me and all the other things the MQ cheerleaders like to label us with.

I had problems as well... had to download something else before I could even get the upgrade, then when I log on to DocQscribe, I get a message unable to connect, call support. Plus, did not even get instructions on how to upgrade until after 10 pm, so cannot even get entered in contest.

BUT I AM A WHINER I SUPPOSE. Oh, poor me!

I have been having the exact same problem. Are you using your own computer or an MQ? I am using my own and figured that was the problem. Same error message. Problem encountered, have to close?

That is what MTSO loves. An MT with a problem thinking she is - the only one when others have problem too. nm

Using a crumy MQ computer. Have noticed this morning that not only can I not login, but this computer is running so slow you actually think its not doing anything. Getting an icon for update every 5 minutes continually updating the same thing.

Know the feeling. Did you realize since it wasn't downloaded by midnight you are out of a drawing they are having? Called my CCM and left a message by phone and on email. No answer as of yet. QCare won't let me in either or connect.

If you are running Vista or Windows (64 bit systems), the upgrade will NOT work. Don't waste time putting in a ticket and calling Support. This upgrade only works on systems running XP (32 bit). Running as administrator, etc. will not be successful. Support personnel say they have over 5000 tickets from employees with upgrade issues. They will tell you it is because you use DSL, and DSL has slower download speeds than cable. That is nonsense! My DSL download speeds are 7 meg. I downloaded 6.1 on my XP in less than 1 minute with my wireless connection at 7 meg (fiber).

I asked the support tech if a version of 6.1 will be released that will work on Vista/Windows 7. Apparently, that is not in the plan right now.

I assume this is why they are pushing the upgrade and using this contest as an incentive. It will not help, as it seems many cannot upgrade even if they want to.

Youâ��d think it would work on Windows 7 or Vista 32. nm - new hire

I know we have to install and whatever, and there are all of these steps, and I really do not want anything else on this old MQ computer to slow it down more. I am pretty content with the sites I go to and really don't want to learn another program. Besides, I do think that they will start charging us after January and I certainly am not paying for something when I can get answers free. your Win7, 64-bit computer to run DQS, if you enter your COA from your old computer's WinXP, will it cause you to not be able to use your old computer's WinXP anymore? I'm assuming you're only supposed to use the Win XP COA on one computer, or does it not matter on the VMWare? ...

I'm not sure, but it seems to me that this whole issue came around about a year ago, telling us we must install it, and upon looking into it, it was my impression that it would allow MM to track everywhere we go on our computers, so I didn't install it. I asked for a company computer, and the matter was eventually dropped until now. I don't know what to do. ...

Hi. I've just started working with ichart. I have a 9-pin foot pedal that works great with Express Scribe, but I just can't seem to connect it to TransNet. In the Options on Express Scribe, I enabled it easily, but TransNet doesn't seem to have any controller options on its menu. Back from vacation. Logged into the new 7 version - would not work. Tried a few times. Called Support. 1-1/2 hours - no luck - they will contact Advanced Support. Will try again tomorrow.
