Advertisements on MT stars - is it just me?

Is it just me or are there a bunch of more ads on this site than ever before. So, someone at MT stars is making a bunch of $$$$ on this site.....Mmmmmmmm.....just curious.

It's not a bad thing if owners make money, is it? Doesnt cost you - anything. nm

That there are 20,000 medical transcriptionists here. I'm sure in transcriptions' heyday, but now?

board you left would have a dozen or more new posts. Now, sometimes an entire day or more will pass before there are any new posts. That would lead me to believe there are far fewer MTs on the site, which is likely because so many of us have left the biz for good.

I have found jobs from that board. Why annoying? You dont - have to go to that board. nm

I was perusing it for a friend to see what was available. jee whiz.....folks I was just making an observation....but once again, some posters to this web site are just so negative and looking to pick a posting fight or stir the pot. Yet again, I regret visiting this site and/or posting. Too much cynicism here for me. Yes, times are difficult for lots of folks but don't take it out on everybody...Oops, I guess by posting this response to above poster, I am taking it out on everyone. Sorry....I will try to control myself and not post again. :-)

You really should research the process of creating a site and site ownership on the internet. Wealth of information out there.

Anybody know? I applied at TTS before and a lady who said she was the owner said to call her assistant who was also recruiter. This recruiter called me once and said she would like to hire me and would get back to me but she didn't. I put my resume on here and in the job wanted board. I was wondering as more people put their resumes on and yours gets older and further down the list do you still get companies contacting you or should you put a new one on to move it back up the list. Everything bad that has happened in someone's life is either directly or indirectly related to MT. Everyone at the MTSO except the MT is stupid or ignorant. Anyone who dresses up to go to the office or wears a "suit" to work is the enemy, not to be trusted and is out to screw the MT over. MTs whose companies change the way they operate (WebMedx, for example) or sell out (most recently MDI)?
