eTRANS Plus? - mt

Anyone work for eTRANS Plus or have any info on them? I saw some archives about them back in 2006, 2008, but nothing recent.

I used to work there up until 2010. I had to quit because the work load was diminishing. I had maybe 5-6 hospitals to work from and was only able to get in 2500 lines per a 2-week period.

hospitals. They changed the tiered system late last summer and I was making 7 cents compared to the 9 I was making before that. There just was no work. If you asked for more accounts, they would give them to you but more accounts with no work still equals no work.

I liked them though and was hoping it would work out.

With each work week being what the tiered pay was based on, all one needed was one day that there was not enough work. And there were plenty of those days.

I worked for them for a couple of years and had to leave in November. Wonderful QA folks and office personnel. I had to work all night and day, 7 days a week to try to make the lines and that was with 4 accounts. The platform is not very good and I had major teaching hospitals which were interesting to type but lots of interns and header information to keep track of. They have good vision and dental and PTO benefits. Health insurance is poor. I liked that it was no VR. Really hated to quit.

Does anyone know anything about the Medquist/eTrans Plus buy out. I know 2 members of management were "let go." Has Medquist put their MTs on eTrans Plus' accounts? Work seems to be low. ...

Could have saved myself some weekend anxiety. The 877 call in number was Medquist. The CEO tremored through the whole accounce of the buyout. HUH eat my foot they will recognize and keep everything intact. When I asked for Federal Leave when Q bought Spheris they would NOT recognize my time. eTrans made an "error" last pay taking away all my PTO. The sweaty CEO has a bad conscious because eTrans will make as much as MTs in India. Now I know what the Plus in Etrans stood for. ...
