Does anyone know of any services who hire employee status and that offer United Healthcare insurance (besides MQ!)? I have a job as an IC that used to be full-time and has now dwindled down to part-time. I'd like to keep this part-time and find an employee status full-time job just for the insurance and to help with the taxes.
Most of them won't even tell you until you've applied, sent your resume, tested, and then IF they make you a job offer they tell you what their insurance is. Most of it is horrible and way overpriced! I noticed one company a while back, before I decided to do this, that mentioned UHC in their ad, but now I can't remember or find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Oh, I have over 20 years of experience, so it doesn't matter if it's acute care, clinic, radiology, whatever, I do it all, lol. Would love to straight type as I just HATE VR, but know that's pretty much impossible these days.
Breitner did in 2009 according to the web.
Do a Google search for Breitner Transcription Service Insurance Announcement
There is a .doc file, that you can also view it in HTML, which gives the premiums costs.
Did you check into United HealthCare’s self-insurance? They have a link where you can get a free quote. Maybe you can find a better paying IC job which can cover the self-insurance premiums.
A wild idea. Why not make a list of your top 5 or 10 companies that you would like to work for and then check out the United HealthCare website to see if they have a specific phone number for employers to call if they have questions. You may be able to ask if any of those companies carry their insurance. Sometimes you actually get a very nice person who will be willing to check their computer. There are probably thousands of companies that use United HealthCare, so I am sure they cannot just start reciting company names for you, but if you ask about specific companies, they may be willing to look that up and give you a yes or no.
Good Luck
