I'm typing a physician's CV off a copy on an image and a few references are for a Prof. Dr. John Doe or others with similar titles. I know these Prof. Dr. mentioned are MDs, but I have no idea what the heck the Prof is for. Could I type it Prof. John Doe, MD? These people mentioned seem to be from Argentina and I am not at all familiar with their titles, abbreviations, punctuation (like missing periods after Prof and Dr), and so on. Be very careful. I was hired by this company and told they had a new account coming onboard. I started out on the clinic side and there were so many days with no work, but yet they complained if you were not on the system waiting during your required hours. Then I get a phone call out of the blue saying well we have good new and bad news. I just saw an ad for a Medical Scribe. The description is that the MT accompanies the doc from room to room to see patients, sits at the computer in the room and transcribes the H&P/procedure while doc is doing the exam. Starting pay was $17/hr with full benefits. Anybody ever heard of this? I think it's a good idea, leaves the doc hands free to tend to the patient. It sounds a little like being a court reporter as far as "live" dictation being done. ...
