I used to transcribe those and they can be very technical (think lots of obscure chemical names, machinery/parts names, etc.) and most of the time very long. It would not be unusual for the shortest file I received to be 30 mins long. Some parts were repetitive, but lots of client specs and lots of research on many of them so I personally would turn down 9 cpl, particularly if it was IC status to boot! So sad how much our skills have been devalued.
