I am here a lot and I have not seen what you are describing. How do you know if someone has never coded if they haven’t told you? The school that has been recommended used to have a transcription program, and maybe they are making recommendations based on that experience. It makes no difference to me whether or not the OP and others stay in their current situation, I was trying to help. Pursuing additional education is going to require an investment, no matter what a person chooses as as career. As the expression goes, you need to spend money in order to make money.
