I worked for a similar company to Robin that "scribed" with an AI platform. We pretty much typed the whole thing for the AI to eventually learn from. The dictators either have a microphone unit in the room (looks like a mesh router) or run an app on their phone that is usually kept in their pocket. As you can guess, it was terrible audio quality because of the rustling of clothing and low volume.
