Andrews School of Medical Coding - Linda Andrews, Director

Posted: Feb 22nd, 2023 - 12:26 pm

The most important factor when you consider training options for medical coding is
whether the course prepares you for the right credentials.

Andrews School prepares students for both AHIMA's CCS and AAPC's CPC, the most marketable Medical Coding credentials.
Our students are ready to take AAPC's Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam at the end of our third module, about three-quarters of the way through our course, and they have ~96% first try pass-rate. Our graduates have ~97% first try pass-rate on AHIMA's Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) exam. The national pass-rate, according to AHIMA's web site, is 75%.
