Two Weeks Post Hurricane Ian - see msg Posted: Oct 15th, 2022 - 11:50 am
Hi All. I haven't seen any notes acknowledging those of us here in Southwest FL regarding Hurricane Ian, so I will reach out to my fellow Floridians and let you know I am thinking of you. Hope you are okay.
I know our SW FL coastal area residents are likely still out of electric, power and cell, and also probably out of a dwelling in which to write, but I'm hoping when you are up and running you see this.
We are more inland where I live, and while it was no fun we didn't suffer storm surge. We did, however, suffer loss of electricity, cell and running water and water damage from leaky roofs, but most are now up and running, and our homes are still standing, except perhaps the manufactured homes and recreational vehicles.
Check in when you can.
