before I got fiberoptic cable. I've been doing medical and legal transcription for over 30 years. First time I used satellite because fiberoptic was not available to me at the time. The satellite sucked. Like the other poster said, if it rains or you just have too many clouds, it's hard to maintain a connection. I didn't have an issue with my employer using it because I had been there for so long, but sent many text messages about my internet being out.
