My secret is a combination of madness and alcohol! Forgive me for being so glib because I’ve seen some heartbreaking posts over the years of people not being able to make their mortgage payments, having to file for bankruptcy and not being able to pay for utility bills. Hopefully those individuals have moved onto bigger and better things. I’ve been here 20 years and the changes have been appalling to the employee but not the employer. Luckily I have an additional source of income so that’s the reason I’m able to stay. It suits my needs while kids are in school and I can stay home with them. So sad to see what was once a lucrative professional job turn into a swampy micromanaged soul-sucking mess.
