Document Delivery Specialist - Pathology (DDS-P) - Roxanne

TITLE: Document Delivery Specialist, Pathology (DDS-P) 

COMPANY:  Precision Transcription

 PURPOSE:  

To assist the Pathology Coordinator by monitoring volumes and assigning work as necessary, answering questions related to account specs, and moving between accounts to ensure TAT is maintained.   

 

SCOPE: The DDS-P reports directly to the Pathology Coordinator to monitor volumes and maintain TAT. The primary responsibilities of the DDS-P include monitoring the volumes (and eventual pend cues), performing full document review/QA on occasion, and assisting with addressing questions related to account specs and processes to ensure high-quality is maintained. 

 

JOB DETAILS  

  • Daily production requirement of 120 minutes 
  • Provide backlog status at 1-hour intervals 
  • Work with MTs to maintain consistent coverage across accounts as volumes fluctuate  
  • 100% review every report 
  • Provide feedback as appropriate to the MT 
  • Identify Account Specific discrepancies and/or recommend improvements 
  • Confirm documents are edited consistently and fairly, according to client account specifics, QA guidelines, standards of style, and formats of practice 
  • The use of a text expander is highly recommended; starter dictionary, provider-specific templates, and organizational tips available 
  • Pay - $0.80/audio min plus $5/hour

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

  • Strong Pathology Transcription or Quality Assurance background. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to work across multiple platforms and multiple accounts 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

  • Strong platform experience required 
  • Minimum of 3 years experience within an MTSO or similar HIM capacity 
  • CMT and/or RMT preferred 
  • Experience proofreading, editing, and evaluating quality against established metrics
