there are variables for direct deposit. The clearing house being used, the bank the deposit is being made to, so even though you got your deposit on the day it was posted, that doesn't mean someone else who works where you work didn't have a deposit that was pending. It can take one to five days for a direct deposit to actually be available in an account. So that's really not false information!
