If my PC weren't ancient as it is, I might consider it. Small things like to "break" it temporarily (like updates) as is so until I at least have the funds for a backup if needed I'm not sure I want to do a restore. I may attempt to just restore to factory settings when I do have the means to continue working if it completely bricks the old thing.
